Oregon Department of Energy is recruiting for two Senior Policy Analysts
Oregon is a leader in clean, renewable energy technologies and policies. From being the first state to approve rules to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to adopting a 50 percent renewable portfolio standard goal, Oregon is making progress on some of the planet’s most important energy issues. The Senior Policy Analysts will join our Planning & Innovation Division to help keep Oregon moving forward.
We’re looking for two results-driven team members:
– Climate Specialist: Primary focus on achieving Oregon’s greenhouse gas emissions goals, understanding the effects of and adaptation strategies for climate change on energy systems.
– Natural Gas and Alternative Fuels Specialist: Primary focus on the natural gas sector, including renewable natural gas, system resilience, and decarbonization strategies, as well as alternative fuel adoption in the medium- and heavy-duty transportation
