SUMMARY:Voting Opens - 2020 Annual Ugly Sweater Contest
DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again! We know 2020 is ugly enough\, but it’s time to dust off your ugliest holiday sweaters and get ready for the annual Emerging Professionals Ugly Sweater Party. If you thought COVID was going to force us to break tradition\, you thought wrong! \nThis year we will be holding an online Ugly Sweater Competition\, which will be culminated by a digital Ugly Sweater Awards Happy Hour on Tuesday December 22nd. \nThe categories for this year’s Ugly Sweater Party are as follows: \n\nUgliest Sweater\nMost Creative / Original\nJudges’ Choice\nPeople’s Choice\nPets and Children\n\nThe People’s Choice award will be voted on through a public poll. The voting will continue right up until the Awards Happy Hour. Anyone can participate. The winners will receive prizes in the form of gift cards. \nAll submissions must be received by December 15th at 11:00pm to be posted at the start of the voting period. Submissions will continue to be accepted throughout the voting period and added as the competition goes on. \nTo submit your ugly sweater for the competition\, please email a photograph of your submission to: orashrae@gmail.com with the subject line: “Ugly Sweater 2020”. Be sure to include the following: \n\nA photo of you or the contestant wearing the sweater.\nYour name\, and email.\nWhat chapter and organization do you belong to: Example: CSI/Portland\, ASHRAE/Oregon\, ASHRAE/Willamette-Valley etc.\nA brief statement about yourself\, what you are passionate about\, who you work for\, how long you have been in the industry\, etc.\nOptional: A statement about your submission to be posted with your photo to help earn votes.\n\nBy emailing your ugly sweater submission\, you give full rights to CSI Portland and ASHRAE Oregon to publish your submission\, including photo and text\, on their respective websites\, newsletters\, and social media including but not limited to: Instagram\, LinkedIn\, Facebook\, Twitter\, Youtube\, Messenger. \n
