March Technical Meeting – The Past, Present, & Future of ASHRAE
Join Us for an evening Technical Event as we learn more about ASHRAE and Network with other folks in our industry.
Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About the Organization That Defines the Standards of Our Industry
For many, ASHRAE is sometimes seen as a faceless technical organization that publishes standards, guidelines, handbooks and monthly journals, and at the local level, hosts monthly meetings, events, and an occasional golf tournament. But ASHRAE is SO much more than that! ASHRAE is a vibrant community of dedicated volunteer members from around the world collaborating to develop healthier and more sustainable solutions for the built environment. Join us this month for high-paced, interactive session as we explore the history of ASHRAE, current initiatives such as Indoor Environmental Quality, Decarbonization, and DEI with a glimpse into what the future may hold – a future we hope you are a part of! Topics will include:
- The structure of ASHRAE chapters and regions
- ASHRAE’s Strategic Plan goals and initiatives
- ASHRAE Standards/Guidelines – and how YOU can help define these guidance documents
- Opportunities to join Technical Committees
- Opportunities to build your network, connect with industry professionals and have fun!
What changes would you like to see within ASHRAE?
