How do I join ASHRAE?
Once you choose the member grade that suits you best, you can either join online or submit a hard-copy application. If you are transferring from Student to Associate grade please visit the SmartStart page.
- Join Online – Click the Join Online link. From there you will choose what member grade you are applying for and answer a few, simple questions about yourself and your interests before entering your payment information. Then click Submit. You will then receive an email confirmation that your application was received. If you have any trouble, contact membership@ashrae.org, or 800-5-ASHRAE.
- Download an Application – Download the appropriate application below and return to ASHRAE Headquarters along with the payment based on membership type. Dues are on an anniversary billing cycle. Completed forms with dues should be mailed to: ASHRAE, Attn: Accounting, 1791 Tullie Circle, N.E., Atlanta, GA 30329 USA.
