This presentation highlights the similarities and differences between bEQ, Energy Star, LEED®, or other building certifications. Understanding them can help engineers and contractors better communicate with building owners and facility managers the value of EUI (Energy Utilization Index) standards that may soon be applied to their buildings, as is now mandated by a number of municipalities, counties and states in the U.S. (including Washington and Oregon). Companies that fully incorporate ASHRAE bEQ labeling can create a new profit center.
